After a frustrating day at school, I walk out to my vehicle to discover this on my windshield. Parking is very limited anytime after 8:00am, and I had a meeting in the afternoon. I parked alongside a curb. They got me for "obstructing the sidewalk" with a fine of $40. The funny thing is there were 3 cars on the other side of the street parked the same way, but no tickets on their windshield. Jana- here's the pic (I haven't figured out how to flip in yet)

Maybe they gave you a ticket because you did not have gold rims.
Sorry to hear about this...All I keep thinking is that $40 would've bought a nice outfit or two at Christopher and Banks!
You're right Nancy, paying $40 for a parking fine seems like such a waste to me. It wasn't like I was in a fire lane or something, it was at the end of a sidewalk along a curb.
Bummer! I'm sorry you got the ticket. "Obstructing the sidewalk" sounds like a really funny reason to give a ticket. Sounds like somebody was looking for something to do.
